Healthy Community Partnership Grant Awarded To Improve Access To Care For Older Adults

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been granted funding by the Victoria Hospital Foundation and Victoria Lifeline for the implementation of a Wi-Fi assisted listening system. This innovative system allows residents to connect their Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids to our sound system, enhancing their ability to hear clearly during community events and interactions. Through this investment in technology, we aim to ensure equal participation for all members of our community, regardless of their hearing capabilities.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Victoria Hospital Foundation and Victoria LIfeline for their support in making this initiative possible.

Meet one of our delighted residents, experiencing the benefits of our new sound system firsthand. With the option to acquire a personal listening device, residents can now enjoy crystal-clear audio tailored to their preferences. Whether immersed in a sermon, concert, or community gathering, individuals have the freedom to adjust the volume to their comfort level without inconveniencing their neighbors. This personalized listening experience exemplifies our commitment to enhancing resident satisfaction and inclusivity within our community.
